Refund and Cancellation Policy

Yepsta's policy for SaaS subscription cancellation, refund review, billing issues, WhatsApp and SMS credits, taxes and third-party payment charges.

Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, refund requests, billing issues, WhatsApp or SMS credits, payment gateway charges, taxes and third-party charges are handled for Yepsta Business OS, a SaaS platform offered by SakuCreations India (OPC) Private Limited.

No Complimentary Tier

Yepsta currently does not offer a complimentary tier or trial period unless specifically announced in writing by Yepsta or stated in a written proposal, checkout flow or invoice.

Subscription Cancellation

A business may request cancellation or non-renewal through the available account, support or contact channel.

  • Cancellation generally stops future renewal or future use depending on the billing cycle and account status.
  • Access may continue until the end of the already paid billing period unless otherwise stated in writing or required for security, non-payment, misuse or legal reasons.
  • Cancellation does not automatically reverse charges already billed for an active or completed billing period.
  • The business should include its business name, registered email or phone number, account details and cancellation request details.
  • Unpaid invoices, failed payments, expired subscriptions or unresolved chargebacks may lead to restricted access, suspension or termination.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are reviewed case by case. Yepsta may consider a refund where a genuine payment or billing issue is confirmed.

  • Duplicate payment for the same business, plan and billing period.
  • Accidental double charge or repeated payment captured by the payment provider.
  • Payment captured but subscription activation failed due to a technical issue attributable to Yepsta systems.
  • Billing error confirmed by Yepsta after review of invoice, payment and account records.
  • Other exceptional cases approved at Yepsta's discretion, subject to applicable law, provider rules and account history.

Non-Refundable Cases

Except where required by applicable law or approved by Yepsta after review, refunds are generally not available for normal subscription usage or business decisions after activation.

  • Partial use of a subscription period or unused time after the subscription has started.
  • Change of mind after account activation, onboarding, setup or product usage.
  • Unused features, modules, locations, staff seats, workflows or plan capacity.
  • Failure by the business to complete onboarding, add data, invite staff or use available features.
  • Business closure, reduced operations, staff changes, internal disputes or change in business needs.
  • Third-party service issues outside Yepsta's control, including bank, payment gateway, telecom, WhatsApp, SMS, email, hosting, device or internet issues.
  • Account suspension or termination due to misuse, breach of terms, non-payment, legal risk or security risk.
  • WhatsApp, SMS, notification or other communication credits that have been consumed, allocated, expired or reserved according to purchase terms.
  • Payment gateway fees, bank charges, provider charges or taxes that cannot be reversed by the relevant provider or under applicable law.

Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

Plan upgrades may take effect immediately or from a selected billing date and may require payment of the applicable difference, prorated amount or full upgraded plan fee depending on the checkout or invoice terms. Downgrades may apply from the next billing cycle unless Yepsta states otherwise in writing.

Changing plan level may affect location limits, billing, credits, add-ons and access to future plan-specific capabilities.

WhatsApp, SMS and Notification Credits

WhatsApp, SMS and notification credits are usage-based and may be billed separately from the base subscription.

  • Consumed credits are non-refundable.
  • Unused credits may be subject to package validity, provider rules, invoice terms or terms shown at purchase.
  • Credits may be deducted when a message or notification is submitted to a provider, even if delivery later depends on telecom, recipient, provider or platform conditions.
  • Provider delivery failures may be reviewed case by case, but refund, reversal or re-credit is not guaranteed.

Payment Gateway and Third-Party Charges

Payment gateway fees, bank charges, card network charges, provider charges, telecom charges, WhatsApp or SMS provider fees, hosting charges and similar third-party costs may be non-refundable depending on provider rules and whether the charge has already been incurred.

Refund Process

To request review of a billing issue or refund, contact Yepsta with enough information for us to identify and investigate the payment.

  • Business name and registered email or phone number.
  • Payment ID, transaction reference, invoice number or receipt details.
  • Plan name, billing period and payment date where available.
  • A clear description of the issue and any supporting screenshots or bank messages.
  • Yepsta will review the request against account, payment, invoice and provider records.
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible. Processing timelines depend on the bank, payment gateway and payment method and may take time after Yepsta initiates the refund.

Disputes and Chargebacks

Please contact Yepsta first for billing concerns so we can review and resolve the issue quickly. Chargebacks, payment disputes or reversed payments may affect account access while the dispute is investigated by Yepsta, the payment gateway, the bank or the relevant provider.

Taxes

GST and other tax treatment depends on applicable law, invoice status, payment status and accounting requirements. Where a refund is approved, tax reversal or credit treatment may depend on the invoice, provider records and applicable GST rules.
